Engine (Power)

Base, XLT and Limited trims get a 2.3-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine as standard which is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift capability. Limited Hybrid trims get a 3.3-liter hybrid, while ST and Platinum trims get a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine as standard.

Performance

When it comes to performance, the 2023 Ford Explorer ST used turbocharging along with direct injection for 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Combine that with unique sport-tuned suspension on the front and rear, and you’ve got an SUV that with power and superior handling.

Interior

The Ford Explorer offers 2 seating configurations. Equipped with a bench seat in the middle row, the Explorer can seat up to 7 people. Choose the captain’s chairs in the middle row for easier access and seating up to 6 people. Available interior features include; heated seats, ActiveX seating materials, a B&O Sound System, Apply CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility as well as Tri-zone automatic temperature control, and an air filtration system.
